Whether you have a great idea, a few sample pages, or a finished manuscript, this workshop will help you bring it all together in a proposal that conveys your work and vision! In two two-hour sessions, participants will explore the proper structure and purpose of a nonfiction proposal, and the process for obtaining a literary agent. Classes will be discussion-oriented and include a brief homework assignment to practice some of the practices discussed. Participants will leave with a sense of how to market and promote their book ideas, and what to expect on the road to acceptance and publication.
