What does your audience need to know and when do they need to know it? In this workshop participants will consider various strategies for managing exposition in the context of process in writing a play (getting started, exploring a first draft, analysis, and revisions). Participants will look at examples to better understand how to handle exposition and discuss strategies to employ at various stages of the process. Although the focus in this session will be on playwriting, writers of all genres are welcome.
