(Hill Center) Toeing the Line Break

Loading Events

From a distance, the line break can seem like a confusing or even arbitrarily employed craft choice. In this workshop, we will explore the reasons we break lines and what these choices can mean in different contexts. We will move from the more traditional approaches to the eccentric and employ them in the poems we produce and workshop. Poets should leave with 3-5 new poems and the ability to break lines with confidence.
