Some things we’ll cover in class: making realistic goals and how to achieve them, some tricks to beating procrastination and staying on task, and how to fit writing time in our busy lives. About Melanie Figg

Melanie Figg is the author of the award-winning poetry collection, Trace, and the recipient of a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. As a certified professional coach, she has helped hundreds of writers to publish, tame their inner critics, and add more creativity, balance, and intentionality to their lives. Teaching Style: With over 25 years of teaching expertise, Melanie is a skilled and generous instructor. Her classes are well-organized but flexible—and include an effective combination of discussion, lecture, and in-class exercises/workshops.
