Polishing the Perfect Poems

Loading Events

Have some poems that are almost there but seem to be missing that last touch? In this poetry workshop, we will discuss your poems and help them go from good to great. We’ll also discuss what makes a poem memorable, what editors look for in a poetry submission, as well as strategies to get them published. The goal by the end of this workshop is to have a group of great poems ready for prime time. Links to literary journals will be given to participants (to inspire future poems), and questions about poetry contests, prizes, and potential markets will be addressed. Instructions will be sent prior to the start date on how to submit a poem for critique.

LIVE VIDEO CONFERENCE: This workshop will be held via our online video conferencing platform, Zoom. The dates and times will remain the same. You can view brief tutorials on using the platform here. Shortly before the start date participants will recieve an email with login info. Please check your spam if you don’t see it.
