Memoir and Motherhood

Loading Events

In this three-hour workshop, you will begin to shape a narrative around the motherhood stories you want to tell. Using a creative process that identifies key memories and themes, you will write stories about your experience with motherhood, whether that’s being a mother or being mothered. We will also address the ethical dilemmas that come up with memoir writing. What techniques can you use to tell your stories and still distance yourself and your loved ones from direct exposure? You will come away from this session with alternatives and best practices.

LIVE VIDEO CONFERENCE: This workshop will be held via our online video conferencing platform, Zoom. The dates and times will remain the same. You can view brief tutorials on using the platform here. Shortly before the start date participants will recieve an email with login info. Please check your spam if you don’t see it.
