Alexis Pope is the author of Soft Threat, as well as the chapbooks Bone Matter, girl erases girl, and No Good. Pope received an M.F.A. from Brooklyn College, and her work has appeared in Bat City Review, Denver Quarterly, Guernica, Octopus, Poor Claudia, Powderkeg, Verse Daily, and The Volta, among others. A member of the Belladonna* Collaborative, Pope has taught courses at Brooklyn College and worked as editor for numerous online and print publications.
