Lynn Stearns’ short fiction, memoirs, poetry, and personal essays have appeared in The Baltimore Review, The Bitter Oleander, FlashPoint, Haight Ashbury Literary Journal, and other literary magazines, and several anthologies including Gravity Dancers: Even More Fiction by Washington Area Women, In Good Company, New Lines From the Old Line State, and Not What I Expected: The Unpredictable Road from Womanhood to Motherhood. She serves as an associate fiction editor for Potomac Review and has enjoyed leading fiction and memoir workshops at The Writer’s Center for more than 10 years.

Teaching Style: Lynn strives to provide a supportive environment by encouraging truthful but tactful critiques. In order for each participant to have a solid understanding of how to revise personal work and create new stories, she will identify which components work in various published pieces, and why.
